BlueKee Onboarding FAQS
How do I create a BlueKee digital identity?
To create your BlueKee ID:
- Scan your ID document;
- Submit a selfie;
- We then verify your document’s authenticity against government databases.
Importantly, BlueKee does not retain your personal information.
What documents does BlueKee accept?
BlueKee accepts the following documents:
- Australian passport
- Australian driver’s licence
- International passports with a corresponding Australian-entry visa
- Immigration card
My identification can’t be scanned
- Make sure your document is in focus and the text is readable and not blurry.
- Ensure good lighting and no reflections on your licence.
- Place your licence on a surface, such as a table, removing all other items from view.
- If you still have issues scanning your identification, try with an alternative document, such as your passport.
My face can’t be scanned
- Make sure your face is within the boundary shown on the screen.
- Remove face coverings and hats, sunglasses etc (normal spectacles are okay).
- Ensure plenty of light and the features of your face are visible and not washed out or too bright.
- Ensure your face is in focus and, if not, try moving your phone back and forth.
- If you are still having issues with taking a selfie, move around and try another location.
My details were scanned incorrectly
- Sometimes our document-scanning process can misread fields.
- If this occurs, update any incorrect data by editing the individual fields on the summary screen.
- Make sure these match correctly, otherwise your identity verification may fail.
